Retford is the newest of our stores and we decided to open in town after learning large numbers of women were travelling as far away as Nottingham and Doncaster in pursuit of a their dream dress.

That led us to think, if these ladies are coming out to travel to us, we should have a look at this town see if we could bring the shop to them, so that’s what we did. This is not about selling wedding dresses – a wedding dress is not something that should be a hard sell, this is something that should be the dress of their dreams

The thing that makes a difference is the choice we have. We have over 200 bridal gowns, along with bridesmaids dresses , evening wear and prom owns the choice is important, so we have lots of different options. While the sheer choice available at It’s Bliss is undoubtedly a selling point, the other key factor in the business is its customer service and experience .

Staff for the Retford store and have been specially trained by colleagues in the Doncaster premises who share over 100 years of experience between them.

The listed building set over three store floors has two bridal lounges and four private fitting rooms, giving brides a discreet, private environment in which to search for, and perhaps try on, the dress of their dreams.
