Deciding what to wear for your wedding is one of the things the guys don’t always look forward to enjoy. It’s hard enough to consider whether to choose a traditional or contemporary suit but then there’s also the colour coordination to think about.

Here are a few tips to get you started:-.

First decide if you want a classic timeless and traditional look or if you prefer the more contemporary style. Either is available to hire so have a chat with your bride, think about the type of wedding you are having and think about the look you want to remember in those wedding pictures!

Next choose the suit colour! You could  go with black, which is classic and will never go out of style, but before you make the final decision  you should definitely consider other colours such as grey , brown or navy. Try on a few different looks and see which you feel most comfortable in

if you’re going to wear anything other than black, you should make a contrast between your skin and your suit colour. If you have darker skin, go for lighter colours, such as light grey, if you have lighter skin, go for charcoal grey.

The next thing to consider is the tie colour – this should compliment the bridesmaid’s colour scheme, often it’s easy to get an exact match. If your bride chose her bridesmaids gowns with It’s Bliss we will make your tie and hankie from the same fabric if you wish. Alternatively you could choose silver or gold as a complementary colour or a complementary shade from the vast array of colours available
Last but not least its time to choose the waistcoat, once you’ve decided on the suit and tie colour you will have narrowed down the choice of suitable waistcoats so it should be much easier.

When you are ready to decide just give us a call and book in so that we can give you our undivided attention, feel free to come along with your best man or maybe your Dad to try on the different looks and when you have decided the other guys can book in at a time to suit themselves. Don’t worry you don’t have to remember what they are wearing we will have a record and make sure that all the measurements are taken and suits prepared to the highest standard for collection at least 48 hours before your wedding.

Then all you have to do is arrange for someone to return the suits the next day ( or the Monday before noon if it’s a Saturday wedding)
